The International Design Studio is a diverse group of students and professionals from more than eight countries, collaborating on architectural projects, commissions and competitions. Everyone in the IDS brings a unique perspective and background to the design discourse, creating a truly global design collaborative. Remei Sistane-Salas Architect Int'l. Assoc. AIA (Spain)
Member of COAC (Col.legi Oficial d'Arquitectes de Catalunya) Assoc. AIA
Remei is an architect and founder of 6tnarquitectura in Barcelona Spain with a long history of involvement on several projects and collaborations. She earned her architecture degree from the Escola Tècnica Superior d'Arquitectura de Barcelona. Remei has experience on a vast range of different types of works including buildings for the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.
Ry Bruscoe Assoc. AIA (United States)
Before founding the IDS, Ry worked in architecture firms in the United States, Spain, and Germany. His project experience ranges across exhibit & cultural, institutional, commercial, and residential. Education: H.C.C. (visual arts), S.T.C.C. (architectural technology), Boston Architectural College. Currently Ry runs the day to day operations of RevUp Render.
Elizabeth Young Architect (United States)
Elizabeth is co-founder of Frontis Young Architecture in San Diego, California. She is also a founding member of San Diego Coastal Development, taking projects from feasibility through occupancy. Her concentration is contemporary architecture based in minimalism and incorporating sustainable design into a variety of residential and commercial projects.
Thomas A Troller Architect AIA LEED (United States)
Tom Troller is a Boston-area architect who has specialized in the planning and design of museums and cultural facilities for over 25 years. His project experience spans museums of all types and sizes, and includes prestigious clients such as the Smithsonian, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and the High Museum of Art in Atlanta.
For six years, Tom co-taught a planning and design course for museum professionals and architects at Harvard University Graduate School of Design’s Professional Development Series. Based on his work there, Tom was invited to provide the introductory essay for the 2003 internationally distributed book, Designing the World’s Best Museums and Galleries. Tom acts as an advisor to IDS on museum and cultural projects.
Gwendolyn K. Zajdel Assoc. AIA (United States)
Gwendolyn is a graduate of the School of Architecture at Roger Williams University. As a designer, she has applied her Revit background towards various residential and commercial renovation projects in the Boston area. Gwendolyn remains active within the local architecture community through the Boston Society of Architects and serves as Co-Chair of the Women In Design- 2009 Build Boston Planning Committee.

Michael is a registered architect in the United Kingdom, Germany and Poland. He worked for a number of practices in London, Warsaw, Leeds, and Sheffield on residential, commercial and retail projects in the UK and Europe, including refurbishments, and new buildings. Michael also owns his own design focused studio in London.

Michael studied Architecture & Environmental Design at Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo and accounts for having several years of professional experience as a project manager on commercial and residential projects. As a designer, his concentration focuses on informed design towards sustainable practice. His interests lay in developing new relationships between architecture, technology, the environment, and emerging public needs.

Hanna is a student in the M. Arch I program at Harvard's Graduate School of Design. She has several years experience as a project manager for primarily residential projects in New York City and frequently works as a graphics editor for publications.
